Sounds like a few of us got Gopros from Santa. Quick question; what editing software is recommended? On Gopro site, there is a free download for Gopro Studio, it doesn’t want to download. Found an iPad version but costs £18. Am I missing something here.

Tried 2 different email addresses, nothing. I’m guessing it’s because this free version is on the U.S. site. There is no option to download Studio on Gopro.co.uk

The download worked for me in Yorkshire.

I’d recommend GoPro’s own software for their footage, as it’s decently put together compared to any other free video editors. Also, not everything else can handle default GoPro frame rates. They use a weird one of 47.95FPS; not all video editing software can handle that and if you screw up any frame rate changes with other software the results can look balls.
