  • Goodridge "like" hose, what and where, help please

Just about to build up another bike and wanting to find a particular braided hose type. I bought enough from Dave Froy (Ciclo Montana veterans will know him well !), but want to find the same for my next build.

Its a very supple braided and then plastic coated hose, 5mm overall OD. As I mention, its very supple and the plastic outer has resisted UV and brake fluid without cracking for quite a few years now. Something my original Goodridge failed to do. Its also more supple than the OEM hose from Shimano or Avid.

The inner bore must be pretty standard as it takes Hope fittings no problem.

Had a look on the Goodridge site and its not obvious…

    Thanks

Dunno if it’s relevant but I have Goodridge hoses on two sets of brakes. Both are a lot more flexible than either Shimano or Avid hoses. However, the “carbon” colour seems to have a softer, more “gel”-like outer than the white. Neither have cracked over the years.
