  • Good xc routes in between Farnborough and Watford?

    Can anyone recommend a decent xc loop between Farnborough (Hants) and Watford? I’m looking for somewhere equidistant where I can meet up with my brother. Our usual is Swinley and we have been to Aston Hill and Woburn. Any suggestions please?

    Chilterns? Watlington is a good starting point.

    You can pretty much ride off-road between the two, how big a loop do you want?

    Park near the M40 and you could easily get a 40miler in, either side of the motorway. Buy the 1:25000 OS maps and highlight all B/W’s.
