    I'm starting to convert from SPD pedals and superb Shimano Goretex MW02 boots to DMR V8 flat pedals and walking boots which are almost knackered.

    What shoes does everyone wear for riding offroad with flat pedals? I'm looking for something warm, lightweight and waterproof!

    Also can anyone recommend better / lighter flat pedals? I like the durability of the V8's but they are so large they often catch the ground hard.

    5 10's are the best shoe for flat pedals!

    i have shimano am40's, splash proof and my feet havnt slipped on them at all, and thas in 2 months of use.
