Got to admit that I live in the lowlands and have no idea where good riding is. The missus and I will be travelling up to Dunblane in May and we (I)'d like to do some decent riding, preferably at a trail centre so that the missus can ride it easily. Any good suggestions that aren't too far away?

Carron Valley is the nearest trail centre. Its smaller than the others. Glentress is an hour and half away by car. ( or a bit more)

There is natural stuff around as well depending on what you want

Comrie Croft isn't far from there either, just west of Crieff. Could be glorious in May too. Not that easy a course though, you'd want too be prepared to walk some sections depending on ability.
There was a wee video posted a while back of the Hairy Coo race in October…

Some cracking natural stuff in the area that is more enjoyable than the trail centres…great scenery and the local club is pretty good as well…http://www.stirlingbikeclub.org.uk – give us a shout when you are up…
