Try the Wolseley arms just south of Rugeley on the A51, normally good food and service,

If you want somewhere different try the Meynell arms, at Hoar Cross (just of the A515) its a gem of a slightly eccentric English country pub, very good food & beer

The horns inn at Slitting mill. Great food.

For a post ride pint in your riding gruds The Chase is ok. A minute from the horns. Cold beer, ok food and a beer garden.

I was going to suggest Wolseley Arms too. Cycled there sat, down the canal bank from Derby – just to have their Sausage and Mash. They also sell Staropramen 🙂

Red Lion in Longdon in between Rugeley and Lichfield just off the main Road.Prices vary from cheap as chips to the Resturant fair and so does the opening ours.

Not a pub but Ego Restaurant overlooking the Catherdral works out a good option on their price fix menus and they sell a decent Italain lager but the name of which I cannot remember 🙄
