  • Good off road cyclocross tyres?

    Took the new cx bike round some muddy single track today. Incredible fun but hard staying upright on the Specialized Cross tyres that the bike came with.
    Any tips for a more knobbly tyre that will fit a bigger cross wheel?

    Muddy – Kenda Kwicker
    Fairly muddy/hardpack – Panaracer Crossblaster
    Dry – Kenda Small Block 8’s

    schwalbe landcruisers on every surface cos I cant be bothered to change them

    I used a Maxxis Mud Wrestler on the front of my cross bike when I raced yesterday. Really quite good.

    Michelin Muds are great for cutting through the gloop but not so great at the turning bit IMO
