    Found a feral cat in Western Australia in a similar situation. Got the tin off and got ripped to bits in the process, my boss wanted to shoot it. Very lucky cat as the track we were on had about 1 vehicle a week going past.

    I reckon another cat (maybe known as 'TC') told the hapless moggy to get his ass down to that pet rescue place. 'They'll sort yer out'.
