Alreet all, We usually go to stand road in chesterfield for the bonfire, firework display but we fancy a change this year and we were hoping to find somewhere a bit smaller like a pub with a fire and good food/beer but also some fireworks is there anywhere like this? Just don't fancy the huge crowds again but really like a good firework and looking forward to a good bit of ooo aahh etc

Depends where you are Larry but the Navigation Inn in Buxworth (about 12 miles from Buxton) was always good. I left the area 4 years ago so I've no idea about times, etc.

I always used to like the bonfires in sherwood pines usually one or 2 on our night rides, fireworks depended on how much petrol there was in the tank though…..
