Trying to work out what I need to go tubeless for the first time
I have a pair of DT Swiss X1700 wheels. They came with Schwalbe Nobby Nics Tubeless ready wheels and the rim has Schwalbe high pressure rim tape

Do I just need a pair of valves and some latex (eg Stans Notubes liquid)?

Going to the Alps in July but I get a lot of thorn punctures in S Wales

What’s the Schwalbe rim tape like? If it’s like thick electrical tape then things should work with that, valves and sealant.

If not, you’ll need either a roll of Stan’s tape, and/or a Stan’s (or equivalent, including using a BMX tube) rim strip.

You might find you need a compressor to get the tyres to seat, or they might go up with a track pump and lots of soapy water; depends on tyre, state of rim, and phase of the moon…
