  • Going rate for a used DBair CS? DBair CS vs monarch rt3 debonair?

I was never that impressed by the 2013 monarch rt3 that came with my frame, well the damper kept on needing bleeding, hence poor damping, when it was freshly rebuilt it was good, just didn’t stay that way for very long.

Unimpressed i then got a dbair CS, sent the monarch off for warranty, it took a couple of months but i ended up with a 2015 debonair RT3 as a replacement, which i picked up today.

Now, i have the dilemma that i think i could sell this BNIB monarch for about £150, however, im tempted to fit it, see what it’s like, if my current cane creek isn’t wildly better, sell the cane creek so i end up with more money.

I think i could be getting 250-300 (maybe even 330) for the cane creek, sound about right?

If i fit the monarch and decide to keep the cane creek, i’d still get 120ish for the monarch, right?

Anyone ridden both shocks back to back?
