    thank you jota180 for a sensible answer. the baby sitter is 23 and i dont know the value of a night out. last time together was 6 years ago.
    2 people,taxis,entry fee,drinks , baby sitter. lokking at £100+ . zykes. and a bad head and arguments tomorrow!

    Maybe that’s why you’ve not been out together for the last 6 years. I predict divorce in around another 4. 😉

    £30 seems a decent amount.

    In our village the going rate for a teenage sitter is £5 per hour, rounded up.

    in my case though luckily she is and lives next door.
    £30 it is then, that is a figure i had in mind.
