Aargh. Like a monkey sat on my willy holding a steering wheel, this really is driving me nuts!

I have gamil account, use imap to get it on Outlook (2007). I never really use the gmail web end, just get emails on Android phone then in Outlook on PC.

Whatever I do, I cannot get it configured so that when I delete emails on my phone, they also delete in Outlook (and vice verse)

Anyone fancy offering up an idiots guide as my googlemojo has failed me, nothing there seems to work

You are retrieving the mail from gmail and onto PC viewing on outlook, thus no longer able to delete them. If you used the web for viewing email rather than outlook they would be deleted.
