Hi,

Does anyone know if the Glyncorrwg campsite is open at the moment? We've called them a few times and we've gone straight to the answer phone.

As far as I know, it's open all year round. We arrived after dark in February last year and just paid before we rode the next day. We did get some raised eyebrows from the guy behind the counter, but it was all fine.

[Edit: he was surprised by the fact we camped in the frost, not because he was bothered about us camping before we paid 🙂 ]

There were plenty of tents there this weekend just gone.

I went up a couple of weeks ago. I phoned up and yes they were open. We ended up the Afan Lodge. £70 a night for two of us. was the right choice with freezing temperatures!! great food, evening and the next morning.

Not sure if you're planning on riding Whites but Energy section was closed on Tuesday, might be worth ringing up for more info.

Keep an eye on your bikes though, even if they're locked in a vehicle…..
