  • Glossop – what's the weather like???

    Anybody there at the moment.

    Supposed to be driving across this evening from Sheffield.

    Snake is currently closed, BBC says Woodhead is slow.

    Is the weather bad in Glossop (or that side of the Peaks) as it’s sunny here, is it likely Snake will re-open later?

    Thanks if you can help.

    Sleet and murk at street level. Dusting of snow high up this morning, but can’t see it now. Grey. Miserable. Bleak. I think the Snake closed because of ice rather than snow fwiw.
