my mate and i fancy going up to glenquey reservoir, partly for a ride out, partly to scope for potential sites for a planned bivvy ride later in the year (something neither of us have ever done).
    anyone been?
any advice on where to leave the car etc would be good, also, if its completely unsuitable bog etc that would be good to know.
i am dunfermline based, so we could actually ride all the way there, but need to be realistic, we aint that fit.

Probably best to ask on TrailScotland, plenty Fifers on there.

Glen Quey Reservoir is my back yard so happy to help.

You can start in anyone of a number of places really depending on how much you want to cover, how long do you fancy being out for?

Start points in Tillycoultry, Alva, Dollar or Glendevon.

    Suggested route..

My advice would be to let me know when your going.

I bloody love a bivvy, I’ll not bring my killing axe.

Big Cats round that way I hear.
