But as an aside, anybody else thinking Chrissie Hynde is looking quite hot for her age!

    Definitely! 🙂

Just to qualify that, I am 53! 😀

I just dont get all the fuss about Elbow (nor Radiohead), not sure Guy Garvey has got a buzz in him.

You’ve obviously never ever really listened to anything they’ve recorded, or seen them live.
They’re about the only band I’ve ever seen who can make a small venue seem like a stadium gig, and a huge venue like the O2 Arena seem intimate and club-like. That’s entirely down to Guy being both expansive and at the same time like your best mate down the pub.
I’ve even seen him give away his own Fender Strat to some random bloke in the audience whose birthday it happened to be!
I’ve actually just finished watching the Radiohead set on my iPad through a pair of high-end canalphones via the Lightning port, and it was bloody amazing, the sound was superb, and the camerawork outstanding, about the only thing at Glastonbury that I have any regrets not seeing, as I’ve never seen Radiohead.

He doesn’t half just go for a full out assault on the senses. Music for experiencing live rather than listening to is what i always think about him. Combination of his sounds and visuals is impressive, but a bit too much going on for me.

Very impressed with royal blood, and they appeared to be having a wail of a time.

Radiohead, wow. I thought they were amazing. Watched them last night then again this morning much to my wife’s disgust. The Pretenders were great too.

I know I’m an old fart but don’t care as I enjoyed it so much.

My response to “Katy Perry” used to be… “Who?”

Now that I’ve actually witnessed her act, it’s evolved into… “Oh”…

    Poundmart Kylie.

Well the 9yr olds in the audience kinda like Katy, so that’s ok with me.. quite why she’s being shown on TV is baffling.

As an old fart, KP’s dancers reminded me of The Residents. Liking the mellow sound of Thundercat.

Yup, The Amazons are great. They’ve had a few singles played on 6music – they need to hurry up and get an album out
