Just got my new helmet through the post – a Giro Xar in L

It was to replace my Giro Xen – also L

Both helmets state they are 59-63cm and due to both being Giro id assume the Xar would fit me as the Xen did…………..

Wrong! 🙁

It is smaller width wise by approx 5mm which seems strange.

Very disappointed to say the least.

Anyone know if Merlin Cycles will accept this returned?

have you just tried it on then put it back in the packaging? If so, you shouldn’t have a problem

Buying helmets , shoes or clothing on line is a very risky business . Pay a bit more and get those items from your LBS after trying them on .

Purely tried it on.

LBS wanted £17 more.

Never thought it would’nt fit 🙁
