    Any reason not to by an unlocked iPhone from Giffgaff rather than direct from Apple?
    I need a new phone and currently have a sim only deal. This looks to save about £50 per handset and they say they are unlocked as are Apple’s. I know you have to get one of their goodybags, but that’s only an extra fiver and you cancel it straight off.

    Not really but I wouldn’t buy one this week with the new one being announced on the 9th, there will be price changes after that.

    I bought a 4s from carphone warehouse which was sim free, and stuck my gifgaf sim straight in.
    It was cheapest there when I was looking, but don’t forget any iPhone on O2 will work on gifgaf.

    Thanks for the info. No intention of using GifGaf (at the moment) just after an unlocked 6 (unless the new ones are available PDQ) as I’ve just bust my 5.
