I decided it was time to refresh the bearings and taking the rear triangle off some of the bearings are a bit stiff / gritty so it’s definitely time/over due. But I have a problem, there is a bolt through the lowest bearing on the rear triangle that also attaches a black ‘thing’ to the frame at the base of the shock. The bolt through the rear triangle screws into itself and I think just removing one side the other side should just fall out. But mine doesn’t, the long bolt part seems stuck into the bearing on the opposite side preventing me taking it apart and getting to the bearings.

Wondered if anyone else had this issue? I think I need to construct something to push the bolt out of the bearing. This thread could do with pictures I know but I didn’t think to take any. Some light tapping with a 10mm socket didn’t help but its anodized aluminium and don’t want to whack it too hard.
