Can anyone tell me if the tools in the maestro bearing kit allow both removal AND installation of each bearing? It’s a bit of an outlay, but if it can do both that’s quite attractive.
There’s a few blind bearing pullers on ebay for around a tenner per size that look alright, but I’d still be stuck with the usual bodgery for pressing the new bearing in.

    What flavour of maestro?

I replaced all the bearings in my old school 26″ Reign X a few weeks ago. Sockets and a vice sorted them with no problem.

I have done it with sockets and vice before but I lack the patient temperament for effective bodging. End up bashing them out with a hammer if they’re not coming out easy – the seat stay pair on my anthem are tricky to get square into a vice, for example. So a good set of pullers would be worth it to me.
