Hi,
I was just wondering if anybody would be interested in a Giant Anthem built up from my used 20" 2006 frame with new components stripped off the new bike I've bought and not ridden. All the parts are brand new and unused except for the frame and brakes. Both of these are used but in perfect working order since I've bled the brakes regularly, fitted new internals and will supply the bike with a new set of bushings and bearings. I haven't built the bike up yet but it should be pretty damn light and I've spent a lot of time and money pimping it up with blue components to match like the rotors, skewers, cranks available as an option if you want... The wheels come set up as tubeless and I can supply with some Stan's latex if you'd like too. Here's the spec anyway...
Anthem 20" frame 2006 blue + white
FOX 32 FRL 100 MM white forks
FSA SEMI-INTEGRATED CARTRIDGE headset
SHIMANO XT FCM770 22X32X44 OR AEROZINE SL (blue) 22x32x44 OR STRONGLIGHT OXALE 29X44 cranks
LP XC PRO 6061 3D FORGED 100 MM stem
LP XC COMP RIZER 606108 25.4X620 MM bars
SHIMANO NEW SLX front mech
SHIMANO XT SHADOW rear mech
SHIMANO NEW SLX shifters
SAN MARCO PONZA white saddle
SHIMANO XT M775 wheelset
A2Z TITANIUM blue skewers
SHIMANO HG61 9S 11X32 cassette
MICHELIN XC DRY2 LIGHT UST 26X2.00 tyres
FORMULA B4 SL+ WITH HOPE FLOATING ROTORS
Parts like the brakes have been upgraded with hope rotors to make them about 285g each (!) and used to retail at £360! And since the rotors retail at £35 each that's a £430 brakeset you're getting... Magnesium levers, ergal bolts etc...
I've added up the rrp of all the parts (Not taking account of the frame being 2nd hand) and it came out as about £3200, but since both frame and brakes aren't new I'm asking for £1650...
Having raced this frame I KNOW this will make a VERY FAST bike!!! If you're unsure just look up it's pedigree of awards... I've managed to get it down to 21lbs too for any weight conscious riders out there...
For any pics, questions etc please feel free to email at le-frenchman@hotmail.co.uk
Thanks
Sam.
