Was browsing a few forums and came across this:

    Ghetto Dropper Post

It looks fairly simple to set up but lack of remote may make it redundant anyway. What does the hive mind reckon?

i may have not read his instructions properly but how does he stop it rotating in the seat tube? or does it need eyeing up straight every drop/up?

He didn’t go into much detail on that front. I reckon a some rubber washers would work though.

yeah it would need something to stop rotation otherwise it could end up spinning on the up/down stroke. i fitted some of those air ram things to my van and from memory they didnt rotate on themselves, so some way of fixing into the seat tube/post could do it 🙂
