Does anyone have experience of purchasing branded promotional stuff (like hoodies, stationary, mugs, etc)?

If so, do you have a preferred supplier?

There appears to be a plethora of online supplier options to choose from, and what I want is stuff that will be worth buying. In the past, I had some mugs made by vistaprint as a trial, and the logo wore off after 8 months of use – including dishwasher.

Most of the online dudes are essentially just shopfronts, buying in from other suppliers- you can get good stuff but there’s no guarantee of consistency. The place we use, frinstance, got us some great kit but also some t-shirts that the printing falls off faster than On One paint. If it was me, I guess I’d be looking for bricks and mortar for a start. But for a couple of items we’ve gone past that straight to manufacturers, it’s a bit harder to do but it’s been effective.

The only guy I’d really be happy to recommend closed down last year I’m afraid.
