I briefly saw the leather clad one at Sheffield Uni ball back in the 70s. She was rubbish. I popped up to the coffee lounge where Bert Weedon was playing. He was brilliant.

I’d have loved to seen Bert, never did, sadly.

One of my mates was in a Status Quo tribute band once, called Red Sky.
He was so ugly they left him off the posters.
We saw them live, leading to the phrase ‘Red Sky at night – repetitive shite’.
