Hi, I’d like to upgrade my drivetrain on my 2012 Latitude 10. So far I’ve determined that it’s a 118mm octalink. Can anyone tell me whether the other dimension in the BB spec is 68 or 73?

You could try and measure it, the newer models are 73mm (only need one drive side spacer)

measure the width of the bottom bracket shell (frame only) it will be either 68mm or 73mm.

In my experience the best bet is to remove the crankset & bottom bracket, read the label on the BB so you make dead sure you replace like with like.

(only need one drive side spacer)

    irrelevant on an octalink crankset

Thanks for the info, am new to replacing bike parts, so the explanation is handy.

Guess I’ll be buying a BB tool.

    Gotta start somewhere…
