Do normal brakes fit an Equilibrium, or must deep drops be used?

I’ll be using 23-25mm tyres and no mudguards.

im pretty sure they are 57mm drop.

edit: the genesis website says 57mm drop.

    Deep drops

These are a bit of a bargain and are probably about the best available

they are indeed the best shimano deep drop caliper but that isnt is a particularly good price. not especially once you have postage on them. uk rrp is £24.99 each

R650 are supposed to be better than R450/R451 but cost more (similar to Ultegra vs Tiagra groupset level).

Edit: Tektro R539 currently £35/pair at Parker – black or silver.

Yeh, the R650’s are supposedly better (I bet its marginal though, they look to be a very similar shape)

    They cost alot more though.

i missed the word ‘value’ out. the difference between the 2 in my experience is negligible.

The reason I ask is that I can get a bare Equilibrium frame and would buy some carbon forks for it. But I don’t want the Genesis forks, I want some Eastons. . So I don’t want to have to mix n match a brake set: deep drop at the rear / normal drop on the front.

the frame will defo be 57mm drop. and im not sure easton do a fork that has mudguard eyes/clearance. so will be 49mm drop.

It’s based around a 375/45 fork. I don’t know what the eastons are? PRobably not that?

I have the Kinesis DC07 fork fitted to mine.

I also went for the R650. That are OK but not as good as comparable (Ultegra) brakes IMO.
