Anyone use a gel saddle cover?

Thinking of getting one as my saddle is very hard and I am planning on doing some long rides….just wondered if they were any good to use…

    Perhaps try another saddle?
Charge Spoons are supposed to be good.

No. Awful things. Squidgy when you need firm, move around, bulky.

Buy some padded shorts. Much better.

If you’ve not done much riding, there is a period where you just need to get used to sitting on a saddle for prolonged periods. If you’ve done that then, as above, try one of the popular choices (charge spoon, wtb silverado, sdg bel air etc).

Also look at saddle angle – a few degrees difference can transform agony into bliss.

I find firm-ish saddles support my sit bones better, squidgy horrible things lead to rubbing.
