about to buy some more, but theres some choice these days isnt there?? teflon coated, PTFE coated, fully sealed etc etc

come across some sealed mudlovers cables. anyone got any experience with these? does the fact that theyre fully sealed make it difficult to fit into the cable stops?

apart from that, whats recommended these days? wouldnt mind some silver or clear outers maybe, but not essential.

anyone do any good offers on a full set?

    cheers

I am not sure about the benefits of the 'fully sealed' option over just bog standard full-length outer; I have not had any problems with gear cables since I started using full length outers. I use the Shimano XTR inners, and have no complaints to make against them.

This should be all you need. XTR cables with grey outers at £14.99

    excellent. ordered theose thanks.

just out of interest, what are all the different outer 'caps' for? theres long ones, shorter ones, some that look like they join onto each other? do they take the place of the normal caps, and how do you decide which to use?
