Just got back from a ride in the forest and my mate asked me if I could have a look at an old bike of his. As the title says, it's a Joshua X1 but currently needs lots of TLC.

The rear will need shot blasting and powder coating (£40), but the frame seems to be good. The rear shock still works but isn't upto much and the rest of the bike is dead. Is it worth throwing a few £100 at it in second hand bargain bits to get it running again?

Is this now classed as an old skool frame?

Joshua was a URT design AFAIR. Compromised design from the offing. Don't spend any money on it.

I always liked them, if small/medium I'll take it off your mate so he saves a lot of money.

It is a small I think. Cant find any frame details online. I know he will be happy to see it go to a good home, but if he does get ride of it, wants some £'s towards a new full sus.
