My better half got this for me for my birthday as I’ve been after something like this. Really pleased I’ve got something like this.

I have read some reviews that says the maps are hard to read as the screen is small. As this is what I intend to us it for; is this a big deal; or not?

I’ve just upgrade from an edge 705, the screen is actually a little bit bigger on the 820. I use it mostly for navigation, less for metrics and pleased so far, reading it is fine, even for late 40’s eyes.

I’ve got the non-explore 820 and it’s perfectly fine for navigating.
