My Edge thinks its 03:00.

no amount of resetting it and resyncing it will change this – infact doing that made it worse – it was only 1 hour out previous…..

I read i need to do a time zone map update for v16 ….. only garmin connect lists no updates and the garmin site says the v16 is up for update and that i should download – but no downloads on the page in chrome , IE or safari…..

im at a loss now . Anyone solved this ?

Sorry, no. Checked my Edge 500, still showing right time (luckily). Shows software version 3.30. I’m not using Garmin Connect tho’

You need to use the Garmin Express software to download updates.

If it doesn’t find any timezone updates, look on the Edge in the Garmin directory, for the file gmaptz.img. So delete that (take a backup if you want), then it should download a new version.

garmin connect didnt work ….

ive sorted it now.

need to do a manual location reset…. master reset didnt work at all but the manual location reset did.
