thinking of buying a garmin edge 200 as my first gps gadget.The reason i want one is so i can use strava and upload mtb ride info.I have a htc desire x and was wondering how easy it is to use that as a gps device to record ride details and upload to strava and if i would need unlimited internet as most of my rides are 4 hr long and i only have a 250mb monthly allowance.if its easy to set up and free to use my phone i would prefer to do that but if not ill buy a garmin but was wondering if they are worth the money and work from inside a camelback as it wouldnt last too long attached to my bike.cheers

The phone you mention will do the job probably though the battery might be on the limit. Strava doesn’t use much data in itself unless you’re constantly checking maps, etc.

They’ll work fine in a camelbak.
