As a fiftieth birthday prezzie my family are contributing towards a Garmin Edge 1000. Are the clitches ironed out as I’ve seen reviews on wiggle etc that the software has some issues. I have a Bryton Rider 35 that’s serving me well but a device that will pick a route out for me and give navigation will prove very useful amongst the other features it boasts. Probably a bit overkill for me but Heyho I’m not having a party just a meal out, I’m also heading off to Rapha Tempest Festival on my Todd for some me time and enjoy the TDF etc.

Don’t own one but keep well up to speed on such stuff and honestly would go for the 810 and spend the remaining £200 or so on other bike related bits or a bag of coke and a hooker…
