Cracked the screen on my Edge 305 yesterday. I have tried my best to find a replacement including Garmin’s support site (which is hard to navigate-how ironic is that!) but I can’t find anything other than a flat rate $79 repair.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement screen, either fitted or DIY?

ebay is probably your best bet (a damaged/repairable unit) I think I read the other day that Garmin had stopped doing the fixed price repair on the 305.

If it’s the same as the flat rate repair I had onn my Foretrex 101 they basically send you a new unit.

Rang them today to be told they no longer support it, and have no spares for it. Bugger.

May have found a 705 at the right money, so that’s a potential solution.

I’ve a 305 somewhere with a FUBAR’d USB and battery, if it turns up you can have it for postage cost.
