    I’m using a Garmin 820 for road and MTB, and for the most part I have no problems whatsoever.

    After I have finished a ride and it auto uploads, I’ll switch the Garmin off. I quickly get a ‘garmin device disconnected’ bluetooth warning on the phone, to let me know it is not longer connected.

    So far so good, but at the moment I then continue to get bluetooth warnings from Gamin Connect on the phone, telling me its disconnected, as many as 2 or 3 per hour, every hour…

    Anyone else come across this, and how was it resolved?

    make sure it’s on the latest firmware.

    and your phone app is updated.

    Sounds like a Garmin app/service is still running on the phone and trying to talk to the device. If you have Garmin s/w on the phone have you checked the settings to see if there’s anything about always trying to connect ?
