  • Garmin 810 & BTwin cadence/speed sensor, should they talk to each other?

Ok please excuse by tech ability, I’ve got a Garmin 810 and today I picked up a BTwin cadence & speed sensor from Decathlon.
They are both Bluetooth, I’ve followed both sets of instructions and they won’t connect. Tried various threads on line and now I’m just confused.
So back to basics, has anyone had this combo working?

I’ve update the software, Bluetooth is enabled, any other suggestions?

Don’t know the answer, but I believe Garmin use ANT+ rather than bluetooth for the connection.

    As above

Take the sensors back to decathlon and get ant+ sensors, preferably garmin

Garmin uses Bluetooth for talking to pc/phone and ANT+ for talking to sensors. They aren’t compatible.

    That will explain it, cheers
