I use one on my DH bike and it’s quiet, make sure you get the latest version with the O-ring on the bottom guide, as the roller type was a pain

Yeah it was the o-ring that appealed

Does it work OK?

I fitted it approx 3 months ago and have done about 5 or 6 uplift days in that time and it has been fine.

I’ve had the old roller one for about 2 years and it’s been fine. I did strip the bearings and packed them with waterproof grease though.

Sorry, should of added that I ran it with the roller for about 18 months first and with hindsight should of done as Michael suggested and repacked with grease.
