The time has come to renew my WMB subscription. Renwal will cost me £41.99, starting a new subscription will cost £35.49 (and if I do it over the phone quoting a promotional number from the current mag. I can get a free £25 saddle). Guess which I went for (although I couldn’t be bothered to ring up and get a free saddle I didn’t want).

Seems odd to penalise current subscribers.

They’re all as bad, IPC are the same, keep meaning to can my MBR subscription and re-subscribe when there’s a good gift on.

Having said that, I’ve paid for the new subscription but my confirmation email hasn’t come through and nothing’s been updated in my account (there’s no option to see outstanding orders). Any ideas how long new subscriptions take to be processed? I assumed that it was all automatic, but perhaps not.
