  • FUNN F2 Brakes – Bleeding???

    Friend has these on his Orange. Rear brake needs the pistons pushed back in but they’re not moving at all so I was just going to undo bleed bolt and see if that helped (ie push a bit of fluid out when the pistons retract – have done it successfully on other brakes). Can’t figure out where the bleed bolt is…

    There are two torx bolts on the front of the lever that look like they secure the reservoir cap, and then screws on the top and bottom which are a mystery. Didn’t want to start taking it apart as a)not my bike and b)didn’t have any fluid/spares with me.

    Anyone have any experience with these?

    The little screws are the lever’s bleed ports (don’t lose the little o-ring under them), not sure if bleed kits to fit them are still available though. If you do have to top them up, you can clamp the lever body carefully in a vice to gain access to remove the top cap.
