Finally getting around to buying the Mrs a decent camera.

Quite like the look and spec of the Fuji X-A2.

However, I can get the X-A1 for about £50 cheaper.

Now as I understand it, the x-A2 is the replacement for the x-A1 which was released in 2013.

However, looking at the specs they doesn’t seem to be any significant differences.

Is it worth the premium for the newer model which seems to 95% the same?

    What’s you’re budget?

Neither the X-A1 or 2 have the x-trans senser which for me is the main point of getting a Fuji. Both are pretty plastiky to handle – they feel cheap but that’s largely because they are cheap.

Can you stretch to an XT-10? 80% of the XT-1 for far less money. Much better EVF than the X-A’s and has the x trans sensor.

If you’re not interested in the x trans sensor what is your rationale for going the Fuji route as IMO there are many better cameras for similar money.
