    Hi

    Anyone know what the cycleway is like from Ft Bill to the world cup event? Looks about 4miles from town, will my hack road bike be ok on it?

    Is tarmac all the way from Fort Bill to the venue. Nice and wide, off the road.

    Should be. I think it’s pretty smooth. Not quite tarmac, but pretty fine whin-type stuff.

    its tarmac now ….

    OR you can go up onto the puggy line if you feeling fit and follow it along

    puggy line is the old railway line

    i doubt youll meet too many on the cycle path from fort william …its not your average … was built esp for the World champs ….its nearly as wide as the road ! but completely away from it !
