Hey everyone,
Clearout time:
MORE PICS OF EVERYTHING HERE:
http://s551.photobucket.com/home/02mgthomas/index
1) Orange 222 Frame: I recently rawed it to get a nice finish as the paintwork was looking shabby. 9.76lbs with rear axle, shock, steel spring, seatclamp and hope headset.
Will come with:
-Old Style Hope Headset (RRP £70 odd) - (better sealing than the newer style anyway!),
-31.8mm QR Seatclamp
-Bearings good - mega cheap to replace anyway (£15 from Orange)
-12 x 135mm Rear Axle
-Fox Vanilla RC Rear Shock (Tf'tuned in the past)
-450 x 2.00 FOX Spring, 2.75" Stroke over 8.5"
-1 1/8th Headtube
-73mm BB
-135mm x 12mm Spacing
-15" Frame
-The bike has one dent in it which is shown in the pictures and has previously been given the all clear, it situated about 2/3rds of the way down the downtube, near the bb.
-There are some specs of the original paint still on the bike as shown in a few of the pics, i.e. near the cable mounts/shock mounts/dropouts however they are very minimal and once built up you don't notice them.
-The only stickers are 2 large Orange ones on the downtube, if you wanted replacement decals these can be had from Orange for about £15 but I presonally like the look of the simplistic decals.
-This frame rides really really well, first full on DH frame I've had but have previously owned a Commie Meta 6, 2 Hecklers, A Blur, Reign X, and many hardtails, this is by far the fastest bike I've ever owned and built into a 34lb DH monster with the Cherry Forks, 321/Bulb wheelset and some other bits.
£280 POSTED with all the above bits.
PRICE DROP £260!! POSTED
PRICE DROP AGAIN £250 POSTED, £305 with wheel, £375 with Forks and Wheel!
2) 2002ish Boxxer Cherry Red Forks
-180mms of Plush USA made Travel
-Took apart this afternoon with new Oil put in
-Come with 4 springs to fine tune to your weight
-The classic accompaniment for any 222
-6.44lbs - lighter than most modern DH forks!!
-Super Plush Travel - by far better than Pike/Lyrik/Argyle/Revs I've owned before
-7" Springs
Showing age:
-3/4 Pinch bolts for the axle have gone, however this doesn't matter as the axle screws into itself so the axle still stays mega secure
-Paint chipped here and there
-Some wear to stancions as shown in pics
-The rebound assembly - the small ball bearing for the internal assembly has been lost, however this is far from vital.
-Overall these are excellent forks which are super plush and feel awesome however they are showing their age, but even a spares these'd be worth a fair bit, lowers are good, axle's OK slightly rounded but easy to remove still, stancions are OK, drop crown, bump stops, V and Disc Compatible, 4 Springs included! 1 medium, 1 soft, 2 extra soft worth about £25 each alone new!
£85 POSTED
3) shimano cleats, good condition under 200miles use:
Just what you see. £5 posted.
4) Titec Seatpost, 30.9mm x 350mm, anodising worn but otherwise good condition, single bolt affixing mechanism. 340g. £6 posted
5)E-13 SRS+ 32-36T Chainguide backplate in ISCG '05 (new ISCG), good condition.
£40 rrp,
£13 posted.
7) Mavic 321 Rim on Hope Bulb Rear Wheel:
-1140g (2.5lbs)
-12 x 135mm
-No dents in the rim
-Will be trued/tensioned before posting
-No excessive wear to the freehub - unlike newer ProII alloy ones which look chewed up after a days riding!
-The freehub is a little loose however this is OK, it does not affect the wheel once riding and only very slight movement when played with by hand.
-Bearings are showing some signs of wear, a bit grindy, but feel good when on the bike wouldn't say they need replacing for a while.
£60 POSTED
Got a matching front if anyone's interested too.
36T E-13 G-Ring
-Very little use
-Good condition
-Plenty of life
-Will include a HG53 Chain which has been used with it for £5 extra.
