I have decided to give a Hammerschmidt (so gone Sram for the rest) a try so I’m selling my whole XTR drive train. Its was new when I build my bike 8 months ago, see http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/warning-new-bike-content . I ride it every weekend and its done a trip to Scotland and one to Afan this year, so probably 40(ish) rides all trail centres so about 15 t0 20 miles a ride. I’m not going to claim it is perfect (or close to in some cases) cosmetically but it was shifting faultlessly when I took it off last week. All is this years spec, better photos if needed. XTR M970 175mm Crankset – It had a bad afternoon at Dalbeattie, in the time it takes to ride from the Slab to the Terrible Twins it had 2 hard hits. One cost the outer ring a tooth and the other flattened 3 more (see photo). As soon as I got home I purchased item 2. But I found that it made no noticeable difference to the performance so left the it as was (would be a shame to have changed it for vanity and bashed another). The other rings are in very good condition.. Looking for £130

XTR M972 Shadow Rear Derailleur Shadow M972. Couple of small marks works perfect - £75
XTR Front Derailleur Conventional M971- 34.9 – It’s a front mech, do they ever go wrong or break? Just rubbing from the chain on the inside and a small dent on the top - £35
Shimano XTR Cassette 9 Speed M970 11-34 – Loads of life in it, bigger rings perfect, smaller ones starting to show some wear, shifts perfect (I throw in the XTR chain, but that is not in as good condition) - £50
