Hello,
My beloved 5 spot has to go. Just had a warranty replacement 2011 front and back end which is brand new and unridden off road. Built up with my perfect condition parts from previous bike. Full xt group, thomson post and stem, carbon monkey lite bars, hope hubs and mavic ust rims running tubeless with nobby nics, brand new hope headset, revelation black box forks which have been fully serviced with upgraded dust proof seals. Approx 30 hours total use.
All in new condition. Parts and rear shock about 1 year old but new condition and frame unridden off road. Would suit new buyer and this frame is still 2k on chain reaction.
Any questions please ask, otherwise can view in Manchester. I have not even cleaned the parts for the photo's it just has not been ridden for months.

very very nice ! just bought a new five pro or i may just have taken that !

discapade they do come up small for their size , that why i had to sell me large one as the top tube wasn't long enough.
that is a stunning bike though.

discapade how tall are you? I thought my large would be too big. For some reason the 2011 actually comes up smaller. Two STW'ers rode and commented it felt abit 'short'.

They do tend to come up a little short in the top tube, it depends what you are after though as they are more trail than xc. The large would still suit a rider 5'10 - 6'1

hora i thought you had a red one ??

I also had it replaced under warranty. The 2011 version just feels soooooooooo much better than the 2010 doesn't it OP?

cool, what was wrong with your old one then ??

Paint flaking off (lifting/flaking) from rear dropout and under BB (albeit after my fault/chainsuck).
Merlin/Silverfish were fast in their response and I chose the ano finish to avoid any future issue.

How badly was it flaking Hora? Have you any pics? Saw your "chainsuck" pic on flickr, obviously pre-flake though.
(Sorry OP - nice bike!)

It was leaving a fair patch of bare alu- but it was the surrounding area where you could see the paint hadn't bonded to the alu. So you can't fake it
After all- its normal for some paint to lift due to QR tightening etc.
