Hi,

I'm finally selling my Santa Cruz VP-Free. It's a medium size frame in blue. Lots of good parts, too...
- Marzocchi 888RC2X forks giving 200mm travel front
- Fox DHX5 shock giving 215mm travel rear
- Hope ProII / Sun MTX Wheels (with Maxxis Minion 2.5 tyres fitted)
- Hope Moto V2 front brake with 200mm disc
- Hope Mono M4 rear brake with 183mm disc
- XT Mech, Hone crank (38 tooth chainring fitted but this bike can run a triple if you want)
- Shimano DX flat pedals
- Race Face Diabolus Stem + bar + seat post
- E13 SRS chain device
It's a lot of bike and I love it but I need to make space...

I'm looking for £1500 and I would be happy to either deliver the bike within central England or meet someone half way??

That looks lovely - have to persuade myself that I don't need another bike.

What's the weight? Please say it's really heavy so I can cross it off the list.

Oh, it's really awful!!!

I can't quite remember the weight but I know I'm a weakling and rode it round Kirroughtree once when I had an issue with my XC bike - I was pleasantly surprised I wasn't a wreck afterwards. (made the drop off McMoab a little less scary, too!)

As it's awful and really heavy, then I'm out, thankfully.

Just thinking that it's a bit more gnarlcore than the Patriot and could usefully replace the Stab ('cos I don't really do DH properly, just bomb the Alps).

No, I don't need it, no I don't want it. Definitely not. So can you please take it away and sell it to someone else before I give in to temptation.

Just bombing the Alps is the life it enjoys the most!!

I guess it would be a little bit more "active" than the Stab - a little more feedback, what with it being VPP suspension design etc. Less sit back on the sofa and more whoop it up on the way down...
