XL (21 inch) frame.
Fox DHX 5.0 rear shock
Chris King headset 1 1/8th steerer tube.
The frame is in excellent condition. Just some chain slap marks on the front of the chainstay that are covered with a chainstay protector, the rest of the bike is scratch free coutesy of the hardcoat paint finish. All bearings are running smooth with no rattles, squeeks or clunks.
I've owned this from new and it cost me £4500 back in 2006 which was ALOT of money even back then. Frame alone was nearly £2000. Ive really looked after this bike and people have commented what great condition it is in for its age. The older i've got, the more the bike has outgrown me. Its capabilities are way past what i was giving it, so ive swapped the frame for something a little more xc. I've had this built into a 30lb 6 inch trail bike without having to spend rediculous money on super lightweight parts.
It rides fantastic - so smooth. I'm a great fan of VPP suspension and i had a Santacruz Blur before this. Its climbing traction is one of the best ive ridden on a bike of this type- the more power you apply, the deeper the rear digs into the ground. It will take 2.4 tyres easily.
All in all, you won't find a Nomad in as good a condition as this for the age. The only problem - you'll need to be 6ft or over to ride it.
