Rockshox Pike coil 409 U-turn forks. (95mm to 140mm travel)
Coil sprung and are fitted with a medium spring, which has been fine for me at 12.5/13 stone.
20mm Maxle 360, IS brake mount, rebound adjust, compression adjust to lockout, internal floodgate adjust. 1.125” steerer, 190mm long.
They were serviced including new seals around 12 months ago. I’ve had the lowers off a couple of times since then to clean and replace the oil, most recently two weeks ago when the damper oil was changed too.
I’ve had these forks from new in 2009. They’re in pretty good condition, with everything working as it should.
Only bad bits are a small amount of cable rub on the crown and the marks to the R/H stanchion shown in the photos below.
The (line circled in red) was caused by dirt under the seal in the first few months that I had the forks, once stripped and cleaned the damage hasn’t got any worse.
The scrape on the stanchion near the crown, has been smoothed off, but will never come into the seal anyway.
Great pair of bombproof forks with coil simplicity.
