For sale is my medium sized Pace RC405 frame in silver anodised finish with almost new DT Swiss EX200 shock and an optional 2˚ custom-made slack-set.
It's a brilliant all-round 130mm trail frame with great reviews from Singletrack, BikeRadar and even MBR. The frame was designed around the DT Swiss EX200 shock which is fitted to this frame and generally regarded as the best option.
The shock fitted has barely been ridden, I broke the original shock, bought this to replace it then fitted an RP23, which in all honest didn't ride anything like as well until it had been Pushed and had a volume reducer kit, so it's in perfect condition.
I've also fitted new bearings quite recently and the shock mounts are also good. The frame itself is in generally decent condition but has the usual scuffs from being ridden - the driveside seat-stay has heel rub marks, there's a small scratch on the top tube and the downtube has a bit of scratching low down from the pedals on another bike stored next to it. See pics below.
The decals were getting scuffed just from clothing rub - notorious with the ano finish - and looked scruffy, so I've removed them. You may be able to source new ones from Pace.
The frame currently has a -2˚custom-made slackset fitted with a zero stack lower cup, which slackens out the steering noticeably. It's in good nick, cost around £100 and I'll throw it in for an additional £50. Alternatively I have a scruffy but serviceable Hope headset that could probably use new bearings but works okay.
I'm looking for £400 plus postage - £25 - or buyer can collect. I'm based on the western edge of the Peak District.
