Very sad to see the back of this. Not very bike friendly but a great drive and lots of fun.
I bought it in May of last year to take the sting out of finally selling my Sylva Striker kitcar that I built in 1997 and put my heart and soul into. I bought it from a really nice lady in Manchester. It used to belong to her husband who had sadly passed away. He had bought it from new and had the optional CD changer put in the boot. I still have all the original receipts for servicing, tyres, work carried out and the original purchase receipt.
They had clearly looked after it very well and at no expense. they'd even bought new tyres from the main dealer. To be fair it was reflected in the car. Paintwork is unmarked and it drives perfect. Its a reluctant sale as I love the car but with 2 kids I'm struggling for excuses to use it and I just can't justify keeping it.
There is a small amount of wear to the hood where it folds (just behind the doors) which will mean in time the hood will need replacing. Monsoon hoods will fit a new one for around £700. Its something and nothing really but given a year or two you'll probably want to replace the hood.
The only other very minor issue with it is that the washer bottle has a slow drip so you might want to replace that. Other than that its a superb car, no other issues at all. MOT'd until back end of August 2012. Tax ran out Jan 2012. Mileage is a measley 49,000.
Not sure what else to say really other than someone is going to get a cracking honest car with lots of paperwork and both sets of original keys.
I'm after £5700 for it for a quick sale. It currently has a private number plate fitted but I'm in the process of taking that off. Our local Honda dealership have looked at it, confirmed it is very clean and offered almost the asking price. This is my attempt to get a few £ more whilst a private buyer gets a bargain.
Thanks for looking and please e mail me if you have any questions or want to have a look.
